Earth Day 2025 ICT has been canceled due to rain. We are disappointed.

Good news - K-State Research and Extension is teaming up with the City of Wichita to present a talk on water conservation on Monday, April 28th at 1pm at the Extension Service office, 4-H Hall, 7001 W 21st St N. You will learn how to apply for local rebates for water-saving products and have your questions answered about water and water conservation in South-Central Kansas. Speaking of rebates, rain barrels qualify for up to $100 rebate your Wichita Water bill. We are in LUCK! Wichita Clean Streams are taking orders for rain barrels at https://www.rainwatersolutions.com/products/wichitacleanstreams.

These rain barrels are priced right at $88 each. Don’t wait to order your rain barrel as the city rebate program will not last forever. I have been so happy with my rain barrels that I plan to order a few more.
